On ice sessions will include 1 hour of high-intensity power skating and 1 hour of puck skill development each day. Players will be grouped by skill level and all drills will be designed to maintain appropriate spacing between players.
As per protocols from the Town of Cobourg, only players and coaches/instructors will be allowed to enter the building. All players must come fully dressed. If players are unable to tie their own skates, please ensure appropriate skate guards are worn to walk from the parking lot to the change rooms. Players will be chaperoned by an instructor as a single group to the change rooms exactly 15 minutes prior to their ice time. Players can leave their bags and belongings in their designated change room during ice sessions. Players can remove skates, gloves and helmet at the end of their ice sessions to leave the facility. Masks must be worn at all times inside the building with exception to time on ice and travel to and from the ice surface from the change rooms. Please be at the rink no later than 30 minutes prior to your ice time for check-in and record keeping. If you are late it is possible you won’t be allowed entry into the rink. Registrants will receive an information package with details on protocols for entry and use of the facility as well as our return to play plan.
